document haha, but oh well i'll tell u some things that work for
me, you've probably heard it all b4 but here goes....
1st off its is absolutely critical to have a custom config,
and use the mouse, or buy a winder. You need to use the strafe
functions and have your weapons and shit close to your
movement keys, say u use W S A D to move, well then make shotgun
Q or rocket launcher F and grenade launcher E and
flashbomb C...also make smoke bomb C, makes a sweet combo =)
just stuff like that, have mouse look on, GET USED TO IT, u gonna
need it for your grenade launcher at least, and crank up that sensitivity, go to advanced controls ---> mouse and make both x and y
about 2.1, crank the brightness all the way up, if you have
trouble with hittin the windows key durin play and its gettin u
fragged....pop that fuckin key off dont worry u have another =)
Next you've probably heard this billions o times but keep
movin man, dont stop moving to shoot, or stop to listen to where
they are, they could be right behind you and they arent
forgiving if u stop to shoot. and please god dont jump strafe in
the same damn circle, yes they will see exactly where u are goin
and launch a missile there and it will probably meet your nutz
perfectly., so mix it up! u can start to jump in a circle then
move off track and psyk them out.
I dont really stress that u make your own little routes of
how u get armor and health etc... if your watchin your hud u
will know what u need, keep your armor and life high, try to have
a medkit on hand, personly i always have a flashbomb on hand,
trust me u have the advantage if the other player cant see. Try
not to waste to much time on stickys, there are a few good
spots to lay them, but your not gonna fool any veterans with
them, unless they have no sounds but thats mean ;)
if u do lay stickys try this, get right up against the wall and lay
three in a row, then run, they will all stay there, and if
someone sets that off, BIG BOTTABOOM! heh
Also if ya wanna be smoother see if u can open doors and then
close them behind ya real fast, this can save your ass if your
runnin from someone with now ammo, Micron333 was a god at
this....i havent played him since TEN...
Another thing, in leeps try this, where the cookie is by
the lava, jump from there to the vision goggles then to the
step next to the statue further from u and then strafe jump up by
the door from there, it takes a while to master but its a
great move, also if u jump out of water u jump high then if u
were jumping from ontop the water, so in leeps notice u can get
the cookie from behind the waterfall, also u can get out
another way from back there, this is good if u get stuck back
there with someone firin at ya.
If you dont have a weapons (a big one) and they do, RUN
just run your balls off and get one, unless u know they have like
10 life then u can stand up to them, dont underestimate the
shotgun and the double uzi's though.
shurikans and gas bombs are pretty useless....caltrops can
work if your bored, puttin them in with grenade launchers and
cookies stuff. dont respawn kill, (stickies) no ones gonna
want to play u again.
ummm i dont believe in "spamming" if u launch 50 grenades and
kill 50 people then

also listen to sounds, so u know where the person is and
where they are going.
kinda runnin out of things....a faster computer helps, i realized
when i went from 200mhz, 32 meg ram to 550mhz 128 meg ram that my
game seemed to run slightly faster, (my guy moved slightly
faster)
ummm just get faster and u gotta play alot, u dont become
god (unskilled) from readin a bunch of text docs, gotta
play alot, alot ALOT, cant really play alot anymore....TEN is
gone but maybe someday something like it will be back and shadow
warriors will unite, can only hope.
whatever ya do dont be intimidated by another player, play
them like your playin a bot, find his weakness, beat his ass
=)
